From Baguio Kitchen to Viral Perfection
A mother in Baguio City with no formal culinary background, working an online job, and not especially fond of chocolate herself — Michiko Liquete started Ricci with a singular vision: to craft chocolates that looked like a world-class luxury brand rather than homemade treats.
Starting with just 20 to 30 boxes a day in her home kitchen, her dedication to aesthetic perfection and rich ganache recipes led Ricci Chocolates to hit its first million within its very first year.

First Year Milestone
“Hindi naman talaga ako mahilig sa chocolate... 'Yung vision ko talaga do'n sa brand is pagmukhain siyang as if hindi siya homemade. Nagtiwala nalang ako sa sarili kong kaya ko talaga.”
“I wasn't really into chocolate. My real vision for the brand was to make it look like it wasn't homemade. Once we did that, I just trusted myself that I really could do it.”
